What is shown in the two graphs indicate that drastic changes have taken place on the U.S. population growth and U.S. species extinction between the year 1800 to 2000 and the year 1600 to 1900. To be specific, the U.S. population growth has soared at accelerating rate and it is also the case with U.S. wildlife extinction. The statistics of the rise of the two seem to exist in islation but closely related to one another.
We may cite a variety of reasons explaining the changes mentioned above. First of all, The Industrial Revolution has played a pushing role, in other word, the revolution has broutht not only highfly productivity but the enviromental pollution as well which is mostly in response to the extinction of the wildlife. In addtion, we may look into another possible factor except the leading one that the government has ignored the fact that the precious species have been killed and a bill for protecting the wildlife's right should be passed immediately. Lastly, but not least, the growth of population has been ascending, with the people has failed to know the reduction of the number of the wildlife around.
Based on the analyses made above, we may predict that if this trend continues, all the animals would disappear from the world. Consequently, the nature would change as the result of the world being not in balance. Then Man will be getting to die!
Therefore, it is imperative to take several efficacious steps. For one thing, the government should work out relevant regulations to save the almost-extinctive wildlife and punish the ones who abuse capturing and killing animals. For another we should cultivate and enhance people's awareness that our life could not exist anymore without the nature. Only in this way can we human-beings develope ourselves in harmony.
